Brake fluid recommendations

Hello, been here awhile but don’t think I’ve posted. Bought a 2008 s6 2 years ago. Beautiful and fun car. Silver with silver leather recaro’s and silver headliner black leather dash.
Anyway, 50000 miles later time for brakes. Have stoptech slotted rotors and EBC reds to go on. Do I stick with low viscosity brake fluid or something else/better? Also, any other hardware recommend to use new? One last thing, is vag-com required for rear brakes?
Thanks in advance,
Todd

Todd welcome sorry it looks like this post slipped through the cracks.

Brakes on these cars a pretty big and it looks like all the supporting parts like the master cylinder are more then big enough to haul the car to a quick stop.

Standard fluid will do the trick. Unless your really takeing the car to the track the brake system is up to just about any task.

You will need the vag com to do the rear brakes. It will be impossible to do them without it. There might be some other tool that can tap into the computer to open them up but I dont know about one other then vag com.
