Bushing Replacement

Hello All.

On top of the CV Boot issues I posted earlier, I have several torn bushings from the look of it as well.

I was wondering, is there any type of bushing kit that has all 10 bushings for each side (20 total) in one set?

If not, would anyone with access to part numbers be willing to list out all the part numbers for all bushings on each side? It would be much appreciated.

On a side note, I am also thinking of replacing the front struts as well. Car just passed 116k miles and from what I can tell, they look like original struts. I’m assuming they are probably pretty shot at this point.

Should I stick with OEM struts? Is there a better aftermarket strut?
Not looking to go full coilover at the moment. Just replacing the stock struts.

Thanks in advance 8)

The Meyle control arm kit is popular here, most guys that run it are satisfied with it’s performance. it’s usually between $600 - $700. If you buy from FCP Euro linked below you’ll get their 100% replacement lifetime warranty.

I prefer original Lemforder, which is what I used for replacement at 100k miles. No experience with Meyle though.

I second FCP Euro.

Interesting. I’ll check out that Meyle kit.

Did either of you replace struts when doing the arms and bushings? Shop I had the car at when mounting my new wheels said that if my bushings were in that rough of shape and at this mileage, the struts are worth replacing too. I just don’t want to replace $600 worth of struts if not necessary.

The Meyle HD are better than OEM for durability and cheaper. Mine are holding up quite well, which is expected for 20K or so miles. As far as struts go, I’m at nearly 107K miles and mine seem to be doing fine. I can’t tell you when or if they were replaced. That being said, ECS Tuning had a deal on Bilstein coilovers which I bought and should have installed this week. Last thing I want is a blown suspension component on my commute to work lol.

I did struts and strut mounts at same time @ ~100k miles. Car felt brand new when I was done. Now I’m at 133k and glad I did it. My philosophy: cars degrade so gradually over time that you don’t even notice it. I perform maintenance at the recommended interval rather that wait for something to fail. Car always feels new…
