My car has been making this noise since I got it. It squeaks very loudly whether the wheels are on or off the ground. What’s the most likely culprit?
You would want to check the control arms and steering rack for interference.
If it squeaks when the wheel is off the ground, the pop off the wheel and feel the different control arms.
You can often feel the noise too.
I’ve actually just ordered a new arm on the passenger side as it is squeaking too much.
It looks like both front lower control arms have stiff ball joints. I used a grease syringe and loaded up the boots which is slowly making a small difference. I think my strut bushings are also squeaky
