I just talked to the guy that made the bumper on his C6 (with the C7 S6 lower) and it’s for sale right now. 1600 euros with grill included. 1440 euros without the RS grill. I’m over here really debating big time on if I want to buy it, but I think I’m going to pass for now until I can find an RS6 lowered bumper.

I cant decide if I like it or not…
On one hand, he made it and it looks pretty spiffy for something handcrafted so to speak. On the other hand, I rather like the stock S6 front end (I daresay I prefer the RS6 grill though); it’s understated almost to the extreme. DRL’s are unique to the S6 and look like nothing else, RS6 or facelift headlights are an improvement, but honestly I’m totally on the fence if this is a worth while change… It just looks like a weird midyear half refresh identity crisis.
Further ponderance; yeah, for $1500, I’m quite out. I stand by the earlier assessment of RS6 style grills are moar gooder.
Yeah I think I’m out as well. That’s only a few hundred off the price of a full set of LW rotors from JHM lol
wow that’s a sharp looking S6. I agree I’d rather have a 12s S6 with a C6 front end than a 14/13s S6 with a C7 front end lol. I wonder if it bolts on or if there is a lot of fabrication that needs to take place? or if the DRL can be programmed via the Vagcom?
Same here. I asked him about that one specifically, but he said that the bumper is the only one ever produced and still on that car. Said he’d look into getting scans done though, although a bit unlikely lol. We’ll see.
…I remember seeing the build thread; he cut up a C6 and a C7 bumper and fused em together. Did a really nice job, and it looks like it took a great deal of work. It’s just a weird identity crisis going on. Like I dunno…putting new badass R8 laser headlights on a B4RS4 or something.
Yeah same one… I spoke with him yesterday. He signed up for an account on here yesterday I believe. The price is reasonable for the amount of work done, but yeah, same, I think I’m just going to stick with the carbon fiber obsession that i’ve already been dealing with… maybe later if that RS6 bumper comes up for sale, but ehhh, probably not…
You would need the same kind of stance to pull that off. Only bumper i would change to would be a rs6 bumper. Plenty on ebay
Yeah I considered that as well but ended up going the Audi Exclusive route (since they didn’t offer the package in the states).
