So is global warming really happening? If yes, is it a natural cycle or is it man made? Or is it a natural cycle that’s been amplified by mankind?

I keep seeing statistics that are spun both ways, some to show global warming isn’t real, others to show it is but it’s normal, and others to show a sudden abnormal rise over the last 50 years.

Who’s right and who’s wrong, the never ending debate.

Who knows. Either way the climate is changing. Is the natural cycle the fact the weather is changing or is it natural that we have evolved to produce climate change and it is our evolution that is part of the natural cycle?

Lots of money to be made for those throwing a name on it…

I think the overall message is “if you run a large corporation or government you’re supposed to minimize your impact”. If you assert non belief, watchdogs assume you’re asserting that right as a way to avoid compliance.

based on studies in paleoclimatology the planet goes through warming and cooling trends. Evidence can be found in Ice Cores and Sea Floor Cores. They can determine (roughly) the average ocean temperatures for a given time frame again roughly again. This shows general warming cooling trends that take thousands of years to pass through. Then you have natural events like Major Volcanic/ Super Volcanic eruptions that can trigger a cooling trend or prolong it depending on temperature trends, buy Dumping massive amounts of Sulfur Dioxide into the upper atmosphere reflecting sunlight. Current data that global warming activists use is only about 130 years worth of temperature data. I think the real question is does Man impact the cycle and if so by how much? That kind of data is just not available nor will since you need a baseline to compare it to. I do like the like the idea of keeping our planet clean, pollution wise though.

bottom line is we aren’t going anywhere. We are going to fuck everything up to within an inch of the earth’s life.

At the end of the day mankind cares about his generation, not the next, and not the 20th next generation. We’re a selfish culture.

We have all these awful wind turbines to make green energy…meanwhile they’re wiping out endangered birds of prey because they’re all built along the edges of major lakes which are used as migration routes.

No bald eagles in 25 years? Who the fuck cares, we won’t be here. We need some cheap energy that won’t fund countries who fund terrorism.

As for the environment, there aer certainly natural heating and cooling cycles. We’re in a hot cycle (I’m talking long term here…hundreds and even thousands of years). Are we accelerating it? We might be. Is that ever going to change? Will someone stop capitalism and greed and want? Never.

Eventually we will be in a cooling cycle, and there will be an ice age, and a glacial advance, and all of this talk will be for nothing. But this is hundreds of generations from now.

I would invite you to read “Dark Winter” by John Casey. Has to do with the varying output of the sun, in cycles.

Ill have to check that out.

I think most of the hot air is from the global warming people. The earth and its path around the sun are not in a perfect constant. look back to when coal was used you had mass pollution. It wasnt more then 20 years ago we were told we were going to have a ice age now the same people have said we are in global warming

Anything to take more money from us and more control for the government

pretty much the conclusion I have come to over the years.

The truth lies somewhere in the middle of both sides. The earth’s weather patterns and molecular make up ebb and flow constantly so pinpointing an exact cause is speculative, at best. The one thing not speculative is that “climate change” is big money.

After watching a documentary on Netflix called “Cowspiracy” it’s pretty clear agricultural farming is one of the leading causes of global warming, Definitely worth the watch for everyone.

Saki hit the nail on the head.
