Can anyone recommend some cool innovative websites?

Don’t ask why, just looking for cool innovative websites (content wise, not programming wise). Sites that are at the forefront of whatever the subject matter they’re about (and it has to be safe for work). Could be IT related, engineering related, art related, anything really (doesn’t matter what the theme/topic is).

Thanks.

Here’s a cool site we just did: http://www.houlihanlawrence.com

revolutionary!

This looks like a regular real estate website. It’s a cool looking site but it’s not all that innovative.

Forgot to include this site which is one of the most creative résumé sites I’ve ever seen: http://www.rleonardi.com/interactive-resume/

I mean yeah it’s not too crazy, but we are the first company to build fully responsive real estate websites. Meaning, if you look at the site on a tablet or smartphone, it’s gonna be the same exact page/code, but styled to fit the mobile device.

Not helping

I see. Ok, I should have clarified. Innovative content, not innovative programming

Lol, ok innovative content. Yeah, there’s nothing innovative about the content on either of those sites haha.

Heres a little bit of innovative tech from my industry:

I’ll let you decide if you want to explore it any further, ha. Really cool stuff.

some websites I read with unique, original content

probably not what you’re looking for, but innovative quality content with these as well:

The Wall Street Journal is pretty damn good. Ditto for their iPhone/iPad app.

Funny thing is that the site I visit the most has had zero innovation since its inception in the '90s: www.drudgereport.com. I literally have that on my screen 24/7/365. It’s a wildly successful news aggregator site, and it essentially drives the news cycle in the States. Matt Drudge, the owner, actually broke the Monica Lewinsky scandal, and he jetted to fame instantaneously. And from what I understand, it’s still basically a one-man shop. Pretty neat story

Here’s one that I saw today. Hack map.
