Canada spec RS4 weight myth debunked. Mick fails again.

So after Mick saying Canadian spec RS4 weighs 100 pounds less than US spec, in order to explain away some of his terrible times and deflect attention from his ebwrks exhaust adding zero acceleration vs stock exhaust, I thought I would post up the weight of my car just to shut his fat pie hole up.

I weighed it the other day right after filling with gas and the car clocked in at 1790 kg or 3938 lbs, without anything in it. Unfortunately my phone battery was dead so I couldn’t take a pic.

Today with about 1/3 of a tank of gas, I went back and weighed it again.

1760 Kgs, or about 3872 lbs.

It is getting kind of crazy how often this guy will lie and make things up to:

  1. Help repair his bruised ego
  2. Promote and protect ebwrks
  3. Slam JHM

This myth being busted is just another example.

Yeah when someone who posts a lot says something lots of people believe them. You assume everyone has checked their facts and has integrity. Of course that’s not the case, so always good to check their facts for them rather than trusting their “I think…I thought…I am not sure…I think I read”

Damn I’ve been banking on the Avants being more like 100 lbs heavier than the sedans to account for my best 1/4 mile time :wink:

The B7 RS4 sedan weighs about 100 lbs more than a B7 S4 sedan. So the S4 Avant weighs about 150 lbs more than the S4 sedan, all else being equal.

Yeah, he had to remove several hundred pounds from the weight of his car, because it’s easier than losing it himself.
