Car cuts throttle shifting to 2nd gear

Hey guys. So the S6 has been in the garage during the winter after all the paint correction, wanting to keep it clean before I ceramic it next month.

I have been having this problem ever since the new IM, carbon clean, and tune.

Everytime I mash it in 1st, it goes to redline and then cuts all power while shifting to 2nd and re-engages power again around 3500 rpm.

Anyone else experience this? Happen whether the car is cold or warmed up. Happens every time and makes the car “sort of” un-enjoyable to drive. I have to always manually shift to 2nd around 4 or 5k to be able to floor it and have it properly shift to 2nd. It never had this problem prior to the engine cleaning and tune. Besides this issue, no problems. Pulls to 7k in all gears except 1st. Idle is perfect, no misfires, etc. Just this 1st to 2nd issue…

Any thoughts?

No codes…

So this is like a miss shift and power cut… Second gear strong pull

Yea no codes. I went and did a quick log, you can see fro the screenshot that the torque cuts as soon as it attempts to shift to 2nd. What do you think is causing this? The trans shifts smooth and fine, really no problems that have ever arose with the trans slike slipping or anything like that. Could the fluid be bad? Or maybe the 1st to 2nd solenoid? Again before the tune and engine clean it never did this…

Any other measuring blocks you think I should check and do a log of?

Turn off traction control and stability control and try it again. See if it happens then.

You must have sent the car god to fix it in my sleep. 6+ months of dealing with the issue, after your post, I pressed the ASR button down till both ESP and ASR were off. Went for a run and car runs perfect. Wtf I dont know. Audis like to fix themselves sometimes. Have tried since without pressing the button and car still revs fine. So weird

Your log helped and I have seen this before. There are sometimes the JHM tunes get the NA cars acceleration going soooo fact that the stability and traction system think the cars tires are spinning. Usually shutting off the system and turning it back on help. Or just turning it off all together.

These cars get stuck in odd modes in adaption. Something odd can trigger in anyone of the modules and the only way to get it sorted is to clear that module. Even if there are no codes. Not sure why but I have seen it countless amounts of times.
