it would be a tall order…but I wouldn’t doubt you could get close to a tip and maybe even a manual after all
LW wheels
LW tires
LW rotors
LW flywheel
Stage 3 or 4 clutch
modified manifolds
2.5" downpipes
2.5" catback
JHM 93+ tune on 93 or 94 octane
With that list, I wouldn’t at all be surprised to see you nipping at a stock tiptronic B6 S4 or maybe even the manual. Only one way to find out…
I do know that when I bought my B7 S4, it was 80 hp down to the B7 rs4 and E90 M3, and would be about 8 car lengths slower in a quarter mile drag race…and after JHM tune, catless 2.5 downpipes, 2.5 catback, LW rotors, LW crank pulley and intake spacers + JHM 93 tune on 94 octane, it was doorhandle to doorhandle with those cars. JHM’s little modification systems are pretty damn effective. If my mods erased an 80hp gap, I’m sure the 3.0 A4 program will do pretty damn well to get you light years ahead of stock 3.0 performance and close enough to scare the shit out of a stock (or GIAC lol) B6.
