Changed Front wheel - vibration between - 60-80mph

Hi Guys,

My local ATS used my spare tyre to replace front left as they had none in stock and I needed the car badly.

Since then driving seems to vibrate quite a bit on the motorway between 60-80 - it was never like this before.
I asked them if this ok and they said just balancing (they did balance it) issue and I should find a speed band and I won’t notice :-[

Is this acceptable - will it screw car up etc? I only do 30 mile side road trip once day and the odd long motorway trip 2 times a month.

I’m not particularly impressed though to be honest.

Have them rebalance. You could rotate it to rear first to see if it stops. Unbalance front is much more noticeable typically

happy2b5 is right. rotate the tires and see what happens generally the spare tire is usualy smaller in size than the original tire. that can cause slight changes ro the driving feel but its tolerable and youbshould hardly even notice it. after rotation check all the tire pressure to be at the correct psi test drive and let us know how it goes
