That they do
I dont think they need any modification,
It doesnt say anything about it on ECS, our engine is listed on the application guide

ECS also says a single 1.8t cat back will fit on my car… Lol
I know the 1.8 guys have to modify it a little
hahaha they are at the top of their game.
Well I guess you will just have to tell us if it need modifying
Since winter is around the corner I was wondering if anyone has ever used textile chains??/

What are you talking about summer is just around the corner ;D ;D ;D ;D (well it is here)
I have no idea never driven in snow
DUDE!!! NEVER DRIVEN IN THE SNOW!!! I never fully understood how insane the Quattro system was untill i had it this last season for the first time ever in the snow and I absolutly SMASHED on my friends WRX with ease.
As much as I want to drive in the snow again I would much rather be chillin in the sun with the windows down listening to my (future) S4 exhaust. lol
Well i have driven my car on dirt rally roads and the quattro system amazed me then…
I am not really near where it snows in Aus so it makes it difficult to drive on it lol
I did my S4 one in Rustoleum Hammerer Metal Black. It has a bien finish like powdercoat but its just a rattle can. Actually comes out more gunmetal than black. Came out nice imho, put a JHM sticker on it since it was the one of the first ported intake manis they did
There should be pictures on AZ/EA, I’ll see if I can find one.
Yea post em up beem (just did a quick search and didnt find any) that sounds like a cool color.
Speaking of chit chat. Last day at my current job. Been here for over 3.5yrs, since I was 19!! Feels really weird to be leaving.
Yeah it does feel weird to leave a job you have been at for so long.
My last job I was at for 3 years, I have been at my new one for 3 months as of today.
I see celabratory drinks for you tonight
I might have a drink for you tonight on my own lol
Congrats man, hope it pays you good enough to keep these old clunkers on the road
So I decided on my intake mani, metallic black.
I’m also going to do my valve covers in red like Joe did, then either polish my fuel rails or I was thinking paint, but I don’t want too many color and have a rainbow engine bay… Lol
I wouldn’t mind having my valve covers powder coated, maybe denim blue with black intake manifold?? Would be a good time to do the valve cover gaskets too, does anyone know the reccomended interval change for them?
x2
That’s not a bad idea, might as well since they will be off and probably won’t seal right once we take them off… Lol
finally, ecu is on the way over to jhm.
Awesome Komseh!
Guys I wanna see pictures ASAP of your sexy engine bays when they are done
Going to do the airbox mod and seafoam tomorrow. Tried today but the weather sucked until just now.
When you seafoam make sure to check for codes in the ECU first. From time to time seafoam can wipe out your primary 02’s
I’ll be postign a new thread with lots of exterior and engine bay pics after I get my car back with USP and painted lowers followed by a interior and engine detail. Is there anything I need to be concerned about when allowing a detail place to steam clean my engine?
Drove to Sacramento today to pick up my upper USP from Niello and returned home only to realize its a NON USP upper … to be continued
Okay… my mistake it was the correct part, The part number on the back of the bumper that I was mistaking it for is 1 of man part numbers on the bumper but anyways it is the correct part! pics to come…
are any of you 3.0 guys going to H20 this coming weekend? Especially someone who has the JHM tune? I’m really curious to feel the difference.
Had an issue with the car, had to swap to an older chip and wow this sucks haha… so the tune in the car is an older, more stockish file versus the ‘4.2 hotrod’ file I had in there prior. Swapping back really makes you realize how much the tune helps.
