If cost was not a problem what axles would people get

I’d do oem for a normal car… for big power there are joints with 300M balls and more of them than normal (can’t recall the company) and couple that with a 300M shaft

Was at JHM last week, doing the last minute tweaks for the mythical Dp’s. They look killer :slight_smile:

I have the mod bug again, will be clear cornering, and suspension soon. Found a local part yard who will sell me a whole s4 brake setup for $600. Realllllly tempted on that.

My spare car that i have been driving is a 91 mazda 323 it is fun as hell but it has no airbags no traction control no abs suspesion that is fucked

I love my 323, i bought it off my mate for 800, its the same car we crused around in when we were younger and it has been abused and not much money spent on it but just keeps on going it has got a personality and i wont be getting rid of it…

Who all has dynoed their car? Bone stock 3.0 tip with no mufflers 145whp 145wtq on a mustang dyno which reads a good bit lower than dynojet

If we assume 30% loss of power due to the drivetrain (probably not far off), that would put you at about 210hp, not far from the stock figure of 220hp.

Yeah on a dynojet prolly would have read @155-160.
My plan is with every performance mod I do to dyno right after. Luckly I have easy access to one. Literally in walking distance from my house. Also its my friends fab shop so double plus I get pulls for cheap. Next on list when I get back home is zingo intake mod but with alil twist. I ordered a cheap ebay short ram n im gonna use arm n couplers with modded air box n a afe filter. See how much this will add. Even a couple hp is worth it

its for a 1.8T B6 but it definitely has some helpful info. did you end up doing the swap? I would love to get as much detail as possible… Theres a shop by my house that specializes in Audi performance so I’m gonna see if they can help out… all though I’m pretty sure the guy is a 1.8T fan. Last time I talked to him he told me I should of bought a Honda Civic instead of the 3.0… Needless to say I wasn’t not so happy about it but the guy knows his stuff.

The AC goes in for a what hopefully is just a recharge on Monday. Can’t stand the heat anymore!

Where can you buy the 3 bolt flanges for the downpipes that bolt to the exhaust manifolds? I cut out my cats, cut the flanges off as well, but wanted to see if I could get the flanges else where. The oem ones, have a small opening to the pipe, and was hoping to find something with a bigger opening.

Car went in for AC recharge. Currently has bad radiator fan module. other issues unknown. repair bill rising…
