He said he had a can of 102 + meth or something like that so defiantly not pump. Unless he changed his mind and didn’t put any race gas and it didn’t spray either.
Oh I’m sure he had race gas in the tank, but I think he ran the pump tune… It is a revo tune though so their timing is pretty high which makes the low mph even more odd… Then again with revo’s past race tune results who knows…
I’d be willing to bet you guys that he got on the brakes before he went through the timing lights.
It’s pretty common for people to do at coastal because the timing sensors are after the actual time boards …so people hit their brakes at the boards and short themselves both ET and trap speed.
what a strange comment. RT influencing 60"? Gee for the first ever manual B8 S4 in the 11s (according to your ‘friends’) I’d think you’d have a fucking clue what you’re talking about.
1/8 trap low? reality is that his 1/8 MPH is pretty decent. It’s his 1/4 MPH that sucks.
His 330’ time has him on pace for a 12.0 or high 11.9
His 1/8 time has him on pace for a 12.0
His 1/8 trap has him on pace for 114 MPH
So 11.9-12.0 @ 114 MPH somehow got turned into 12.16@110
Very strange. hitting the brakes as euroswagr said would drastically impact trap speed but wouldn’t impact ET all that much. That’s a good guess. But who knows. There are two MAJOR variables at play here
the wheels and brakes didn’t hurt him where it really counts…from 0-330 feet. So toss that out the window. Once you’re going 60-70 mph weight means next to nothing.
