Im about to order 8 new coil packs (and spark plugs). I want to keep in front of maintenance and the car is approaching 60k and being 8 years old i think its a good idea. However, i notice there are a bunch of different brands. OEM, Bremi and Karlyn. Anyone have experience with any brands or why one is better than the other? I noticed the NON OEM brands are 90 bucks more. Kind of surprising to me. Thanks!
I like the OEM since they are the revised part number after the 28F2 recall and they are cheaper. Check your old coils to see what the part number is before ordering because if they are the most up to date revision T then I wouldn’t waste my money on getting new coils.
OEM coils like jimmy said are the best as long as they are the newer version. The cost is lower due to the OEM getting in bigger production orders.
Its a good idea to do the maintenance and your at the right time. Check your coil versions like jimmy said
Thanks guys. Nice to know i save about a 100 bucks! lol.
Money well saved. I have yet to see an aftermarket coil pack do better then the updated oem ones.
