Was hoping if someone could find out if these coil packs were being recalled or had been recalled. I’ve had a few go over the years, but the Service manager would only replace the one’s that went. I suspect some more are on their way out but just wanted to confirm if there is a recall or not

It’s based on the last letter in the code. I can’t remember the exact letter, but I was 1 or 2 shy of it. My letter is Q as well, so that meant none of mine were covered under the recall. I think its M or N and before that are part of the recall. (I’m a 2005.5 S4, but some newer ones fall under recall based on what parts were there during the install based on region etc)
I believe revision Q and up are the new ones that don’t fail. Those are the ones that were put into cars under the recall.
What model year is your car? I would call a different dealer and ask them if you car was included in the recall. They will need your VIN
