Control Arms

So, After searching az all I can find is people saying to buy FCP with the group buy they have going, But as I’m a firm believer you get what you pay for I’m real hesitant to go with them and they look kinda cheap if you ask me, but I’m no expert so maybe some of you guys maybe can point me in the right direction and for some reason I already know your going to say 034 but lets just see…

What I want to know is why would Meyle cost more than 034 ?? and come with 4 year warranty and 034 comes with 1, and then I thought i heard the FCP’s are lifetime but that didn’t sound right. I also read a couple people mention Meyle having issues but my mechanic which is very good said he’s never had problems and that Meyle is good. And what about Febi Bilstien? Is Febi Bilstein and Bilstein the same company? From what I’ve read Febi is a better choice than Meyle but what about 034? cuz I think if JHM carries it then my gut is to go with what they have cuz I trust them over whatever is on AZ but still I want to be sure because this is a part thats going to stay on and last the car for the next 120k. Also I’m at 115k right now and still on all origional Audi control arms.

I had good luck with my 034 arms, the bushings are higher durometer rubber which is nice.

I think the 034 kit would be best too cuz I already have some Meyle HD tie rods which I read were good so I think it would work out I just wanted to be sure.

Do I need a hardware kit too? Or would I just reuse the hardware on the car?

I would get new hardware, I wouldnt trust the old stuff to have not stretched

I have the 034 kit with all new hardware. You will probably fuck up a lot of the old hardware trying to remove it anyways. Your pinch bolt won’t be recognizable by the time you get it out.
