He’s going to take something 2.7T powered (B5/C5), and do whatever he can for $2k total to go as fast as he can, sounds good until you look @ the big picture. We all know how fast you can go with various mods. And we all know that going fast for $2k including a car when talking about German cars means it will be a jalopy.
So the only thing he is proving is that he is willing to piss away his money.

that could do it too, I’ve never been a ford fan though. I’ll try to find the article gm high tech did about budget turbo builds, iirc they took a 100k+ mile 6.0 from the junk yard, slapped two ebay turbos onto the stock truck exhaust manifolds and pushed the thing over 1000bhp.
