Also gave it 2 coats of clear just to make sure its a bit more robust and resists hand washes.
Havnt had a chance to wash the car since its been sprayed though.

no problems in 3 months of summer driving. I sold the car not long after so don’t have longer test data for you.
I painted my valence on my B6 last spring. It held up to salt and exhaust gunk on it all winter since I barely washed the car. I wonder how the clear will stick to the plasti dip? I’m thinking not too well. If you wanted gloss black you should have used black paint and a clear coat after that
wasnt to get a gloss as much as an extra layer of protection for the plastidip.
I do regret not just painting it gloss black to begin with!

Before this plastidip i had NEVER used a rattle can before.
Now that i got some experiance and confidance i even re-painted the front door of the house. Looks great and no brush marks.
Ill give it a few washes see how it holds out though.
