Well they are claiming 480CHP not whp. There is a big difference.
Still even the dyno sheet they have is a bit bloated. And there are clearly a few things that just don’t add up.
As of all of the dyno results we have seen.
The 5.2 S6 make
260whp for cars with broken intake manifolds
275whp for cars with bad carbon / but a good intake.
300whp to 310whp for cars with no carbon, no broken intakes, and good injectors.
The S8 car for sale said it made 300whp with bad carbon and a broken intake manifold. Apparently the flaps were stuck on the long runner costing the car top end hp.
Then after a new intake manifold with flaps removed and only running on the long runner install after a broken intake that we know adds 40/50whp and then a carbon clean and this is hard to tell because its hard to tell how bad the carbon is. adds another 10 to 20whp
Overall the hp added after getting a good carbon clean. Getting an intake with open top end flaps adds up to the range of hp the car picked up. But the TQ numbers never changed. So its fishy for sure and the beginning dyno figure is clearly bloated.
