Yeah it’s fairly large. The photos you see of it online are always with the suction mount. The sticky permanent mount is much smaller and I believe will allow it to hide behind the mirror. My mirror anyway.

nearly hit a deer recently. Just blasted the brakes and honked and then he tried to stop and slid almost into the car. He comes in from the left side of the screen. Tough to see but he’s there.

My car has gotten hit twice while parked in the last month. Once when parallel parked in an older town with narrow streets. Someone was either pulling into or leaving the space in front of me and they hit my front bumper and fender and then again last week in a parking lot. Both times no note. The second time the lot I was in had cameras but they only know the make and model. They weren’t able to make out the license plate due to the distance/resolution limitation of the camera.

Any of you running a hard-wired rear facing camera? Not so much concerned with rear collisions as I am with catching general stupidity and road ragers. Running wires to the rear window sucks ass though. I have rear amp disconnected so could I use the wiring to power the camera?
