This is the typical standard for VAG logging. For the RS4 we measure time from 3K-8.2K in 3rd but often times the soft limiter kicks in around 8,080/8,100 and can screw things up a bit.
jnaut. While I think this is a bad idea because you are going to be only 1 of maybe 5 guys that is going to do this right and to not have to cut your logs to make it look like your car is faster then it ireally is. A tip for posting on the forums with blocks of information like what you did is to⌠first copy the data from excel and then paste it into word document. Then copy it from the word document directly into the reply box. that will make the log look more like a log. This will depend on your word version you need to have the 10 or better version.

maybe its a little easier to read? I do understand what your saying but most of the drama resides in the B5 world. we will seeâŚ
well I know my car has a stock ecu as throttle angle is limited, even in third gear its at low 60% until 5k then it goes to only 85% to redline.
Edit: So I see that I dont have as many data line, I assume this is because of my sample rate being slow. Is there a way to correct this or is it just the way it is?
we had a secret betting pool on your car being tuned already after the 12.2 lol. Good to see that it is not.
that throttle limitation will disappear if it is hot enough. Itâs our theory that it is kicked in when âtorqueâ values registered in the ECU are beyong a certain point. On a hot day when youâre pulling a bunch of timing and just not making torque, the limiter can be 0%. When it is cool it can be 70%. When itâs ideal out, it is around 52%.
