I’ve searched quite a bit for this and most of the threads are regarding how to activate the speed showing on the MFD (multi function display, the center screen in between the tach and speedo). I would like to have this showing by default however sometimes it will stay after the car is shutoff other times it defaults back to something else. Is there anyway to make this setting stay? I checked the owner’s manual and did not see anything there either.
Do you remember what it changes to? There have been some posts about it defaulting to Miles Remaining when you are low on fuel. Others have talked about an updated when servicing that changed the behavior. My kid has my S6 until I get his A4 sorted or I would do some checking to see how mine behaves.

My car always shows the same as I choose last time I drove it and I always have it showing speed. 
I guess it’s a US car?
@lliejk I was going to specify what it changes to in my original post but then was second guessing myself. I’ll drive it tomorrow and take another pic.
@Kimovitzh Yep US car. Just a minor thing but it has been bugging the hell out of me. Something tells me I’m going to end up at a dead end on this one but wanted to ask anyways.
