Hoping someone can provide me with definitive photos of the best place to jack the car front and rear. I am wanting to raise the front so I can get jack stands under the pinch welds on both sides at once and then do the same at the rear. Sorry if it is obvious but I figure “measure twice, cut once” is best! Thanks.
I usually jack the car up on the pinch welds, as far forward as I can go, and there’s usually enough room to get a jack stand behind. My car is lowered with aftermarket side skirts so I don’t have much in the way of other options.
Thanks, yes I worked out if I use the Audi scissor jack I can get a stand behind it (just) but not possible when using my much easier to use trolley jack.
