Dension experience?

Has anyone used a Dension or similar unit to add aux or iPod capability to the RNS-E? Looking to get one when I get back. It seems to be the $250 solution instead of a new head unit. Any information or personal experience would be great. Thanks!

Ami works well but is expensive.

I just upgraded to the new Rnse, sold my old unit to cover a big chunk of the cost, and loaded up two 32 GB SDHC cards with music.

Why not do that? Better nav unit (much quicker, way better graphics, adds traffic management) and with room for 9000 songs at 320k mp3 quality what else could you need?

What’s the cost difference? I am not really asking for too much. I just need a reliable Nav and iPod integration. Not really a stickler for all of the snazzy stuff. The Dension just looked like a reliable compromise.

Used to be buy new rnse for 1000, sell old rnse for 600-700.

That was 3 years ago. No idea now.

Might have to see the market then.

Marcus you can get New RNSE for 1200 plus AMI for 400. 1600 shipped to your door. That’s what I paid last year. I got the AMI for the IPOD factor but as saki said, if you like SD cards it also comes 2 slots for larger size SD cars do you don’t necessarily need the AMI.

I just sold my old RNSE 2 days ago for 575. The older units are going down a bit in price. I bought mine though neozawa@gmail.com

Guys was very communicative and I would recommend.
