Can anyone help with how to determine what specific compressor to get for my car? A 2010 S5? Im dreaming that this is going to be a shared part across a billion Audis and VWs… I believe I’ve determined that Denso makes the OEM unit.

Well. I had a thought. My a/c works just fine, however the compressor is making an annoying noise. Why wouldn’t I try to remedy the problem by emptying a can of WD-40 onto the motherfucker? And if it’s still noisy and I can’t stand it any more, replace it.
