Did stern copy apikol's tranny mount design?

I was doing some digging around since someone was interested in buying my used stern tranny mount and found something funny.

Apikol’s new transmission mount design is eerily similar to the NEWLY REDESIGNED stern tranny mount. Let’s have a look, shall we?

Does anyone have any idea when stern released the newly redesigned version of the trans mount? Any idea when apikol released their new trans mount? Is this just a strange coincidence or did one of these companies copy the other’s design?

Yes I say.

I hate to see one company get it right and then one company copy. Its like PES or back in the B5 world with ASP. Nothing like knocking off something someone made better.

Im a fan of sticking with the company that got it right not the company that copyed it
