Diffuser help!

Hey guys,

We’re put into a unique position of having no plug n play option for the RS6 diffuser. That being said, I did find an aftermarket one that should fit however it wouldn’t work with my exhaust setup. I’m curious to see how I should approach adding the additional 3-5in for a comfortable fit with the JHM RS oval tips. The material is made out of fiberglass, so my initial thought is possibly sanding it to the correct dimensions? Any thoughts on this?

I remember on Audizine some guy was trying to use a Mercedes C63 diffuser, but never actually showed pics of the fit. Looks like a lock but never gave measurements.

You could definitely cut and shape the exhaust outlets yourself. Just depends on how much material you need to take off. Any pics of said diffuser?

Yeah, I’ll put one up when I get home. The actual fitment should be perfect to the bumper, but not exhaust. What would you recommend… sanding or another technique?

Here’s a picture of the front and back!

I would use a dremel or similar small saw to cut out what you need to fit the tips.

and then sand it down.

Doesn’t look like much has to be taken off.
