Do any of you B8 guys have one of these?

With the B8 S4 section growing more and more and with the huge amounts of data getting gathered, why not do a B8 supercharger tear down?

I don’t know if this is posted anywhere else, I just thought we could make sure to have all the specs of the blower and dimensions posted here for more B8 content.

If you guys have technical information feel free to post it and let me know what information we should gather from the blower we have.

I saw a post about a 5mm or 10mm riser (started with a P) from having it off, how hard would it be to have one made and does it look doable?

What does this mean. What are you asking about.

He’s curious about phenolic spacers.

That is the only spacer that starts with a P that I can think of lol.

Now time to figure out how to strap one of these to my A4.

I really doubt a spacer will do much as the plenum right below the charger is already plastic, so the charger is not in direct contact with the engine already.

Also if you haven’t read the s4 study guide, it breaks down the supercharger quite well.

Informative guide. It’d still be helpful to have something more accessible and I love pictures. I’d like to see more.

Yep that was the one I was thinking of, I saw a post about some track prepped S4’s on the other side of the pond using them. Also something about closing the tolerances of the screws to gain an additional .2 bar…

See if I can find it…

The chap I spoke to on the weekend has a modified TVS1320 that he wants to sell. Got some spare cash coming my way shortly, so I’ll prob take the leap and get it.

I’ve heard of other Superchargers that have had the same work done with great results. The smaller the air gap tollerance, the more effecient the charger will be.

Some info on gains made by coatings alone. If they did it back then on OEM units, they guys are gonna do it today

But, seeing is believing.
