Car is 2011 S6 has the cold weather package Mirrors/R seat heaters Etc. I have heard its supposed to come on with the heated seats. Does this need to be activated in the VAG-COM? Any insight would be appreciated!
Try looking for the switch on the lower left arm on the steering wheel. It will only operate below 50°F.
Its a 3 spoke wheel with paddles, Are you talking about where the cruise control arm and headlight arm are? On the wheel where the mode button etc is

I have a 2010 S6 prestige with cold weather package, and I think we sacrificed the heated steering wheel by virtue of getting the three-spoke Sport steering wheel. I could sure use it right now…high temps in the teens.

I have read that no flat bottom steering wheels have heat, so if your S6 has that, forget it.
Storm33 may also be correct that no Sport wheels have heat. I don’t know.
That’s ridiculous! Ill check it out. If that’s the case, car is going up for sale~!
