Does JHM Still Technically Hold the B5 S4 Record 1/4 Mile Time?

Couldn’t an asterisk be used for the VR6 swaps? I agree with Saki with his engine/ heart analogy. Not sure what road FAW was heading down when he mentions mods but full blown transplants are a different story. Imagine opening the hood to the quickest corvette in the world only to find a Ford engine underneath. It probably wouldn’t seem or feel right, it wouldn’t in my eyes anyway.

No need for asterisk really…asterisk would be like saying ‘not sure if legit’

VR6 (USP’s 9 second run) and 2.8T (FAW’s 18 second run) could easily go on the list, with an explanation of the car’s setup. I just haven’t really tried all that hard to add them because as I said above, this isn’t about winning trophies and ‘topping’ this list. It’s a massive database where people can say ‘oh I see, so this combination of mods has produced this result in the past’ or ‘oh snap, where’s all the fast EPL tuned cars?’

What did you not understand about what I said? Do you even know what is considered a mod? Because if you did, what I said would have made sense to you.

I’ll be honest, I think if I were to do it again, I would go K04’s. Proven, well matched turbo with proper supporting mods and call it a day. Tials are fun but not sure if the extra juice up top offsets the usable power the K04’s offer.

Does the 4:1 center diff (B5) have a positive or negative effect on 60 ft times? I thought I had read something long ago but can’t seem to find it.

Do you get pleasure in trying to kick people that are down? Lol. I never ran slower than a 15 something sec pass. I like to have fun, so what is truly need from me to get my car on list?
