So I recently installed the APR upgraded hpfp and had the e85 tune loaded… Logged some things per APR and beat on the car around town. No codes and it ran well… lambda, rail pressure, fuel trims, fuel pump pressure, etc seemed to look good… I decided to hit Thompson today to test the tune…
My car: 2010 Audi S4 – DSG with sports dif, 9,650 miles with 1/4 tank of E85, tools and spare removed.
Mods: APR E85 tune, APR DSG tune with LC disabled, APR pulley, APR HPFP, JHM overdrive crank pulley, 034 HFC’s, Miltek non-res exhaust, custom intake, APR CPS, front and rear sways, Alu Kruez, Apikol dif mount, 034 tranny mount, Brembo 380MM BBK, JHM LW rear rotors, BBS CHR’s, tire pressure 32F – 28R
DA was 650 so about as good as last week and a little worse than the time before when I went 11.50…

Only was able to attempt 1 pass… Car launched extremely well, probably best ever, hit 2nd strong and pulled hard, shifted to third and it falls on it’s face and shudders and makes two clunks… Ruh oh… Babied it to the pit area… Ran a scan and had the 3 faults below… One was from 2 days ago, my dumbass should have scanned this morning before making passes but I didn’t. Don’t think it attributed to the others and is probably a random issue? I got the lean fault on start up right before making a pass and then the fuel pressure one during the pass. Logs had the car drop timing and dump boost. I threw no CEL so I’m hoping there is no damage done? Going to pull the plugs most likely Sunday… Cleared the codes after scanning and then the car wouldn’t start… Took several attempts and then finally started and pretty much seemed to be fine, but I pretty much babied it home…
Talking with APR… I assume the plugs/motor will check out fine and will see what they want to do…
