Chance for someone to get an S6 for cheap. 12 hours left until auction end, and it is at $14k.
I have not affiliation with the seller, so make sure you do your own check. And, as with any used Audi out of warranty, have a healthy repair fund available.
Once you are outside of warranty period it can be 60k or 120k, and there is not inherently a huge difference. It is more how well the car was maintained and luck. (that is my opinion, anyway)
After owning several used Audis out of warranty, I always try to get the cheaper ones, over a more expensive one that has lower mileage. I would rather have the higher mileage car and money set aside for mods and repairs, then a lower mileage one.
I had the transmission blow up on two of my lower mileage A6s. The low mileage didnt seem to help much when I got a $5000 bill from the garage.
yeah, it seems that way. I have a different way of looking at things where the mileage doesnt bother me as much. But then again I plan to replace a large percentage of the components on my car with aftermarket parts.
When I have something break I see it as an opportunity to upgrade
Regarding the pricing, it seems that the real deals on used cars are up in Canada these days, with the sudden drop of the Canadian dollar (1 USD = 1.24 CAD as of Jan 27). There are a few 07 S6s with only 75k miles on them for $17k USD ($21k CAD today) available in Toronto. There are probably some deals to be had for US buyers if they were willing to import a used car from Canada to the US.
