A while ago I noticed that my AC wasnt working, but I haven’t had it looked at yet. On my drive tonight, the climate control was stuck in Econ.
Does anyone know if this is could be the result of a non-functioning AC?

dont think so, maybe your climate controls are acting up. if thats the case, i have a spare, pay for shipping and its yours to test and keep

ECON light illuminated means the compressor is not pumping i.e. probably a bad compressor

My compressor is on it’s way out too. I figure I’ll just delete the A/C next summer since I hardly ever use it, and it’s not worth $1000 to fix it.
