ECU and TCU Upgrades

Located east of Toronto in Ajax. Just picked up the vehicle from Queensway. 62k one owner vehicle. Brand new tires (Michellin PSS) and full brakes so that was also a motivator for me.

I opted for the 4 year platinum Audi warranty… still debatable if it was a good move with the extra warranty but I didn’t want to have any surprises per say. It was one of the cleanest ones that was up for sale during the time I was looking a month ago. What made my decision to get this over an Merc E63 was reading all these posts on this forum and others with owners not really having too much issues with these cars… great info and posts from you guys with your experiences.

Will post pics as soon as it’s a nice day out. Bone stock for now however I just purchased some H&R’s, Vagcom cable and going in for tint next week. That’s it for now.

Stupid question guys, where is JHM located. I am going to inquire about the tune and exhaust as the project build in the other thread from v8a6 looks and sounds just violent.

Thanks again!

Andre

Near Stockton, California

Nice get some pics up  there is also a related “shop” near Detroit

Intake spacers should not void the warranty for the car. Its not something that is going to fall in that category.

For the exhaust stuff here is the guy that built that system for V8A6 he is in detroit

I would contact him. See the second post in that thread for a exhaust video of his car

Will do!

Thank you sir.

Got your message replied.

Zero regrets with my warranty other than getting more time/mileage. Warranty company has paid out over $15k in just under a year. Love the car and hope to have JHM ECU/TCU tune when they’re out.

Was your warranty obtained from the dealership or a third party?

Through the Audi dealership, not third party. Was even offered the Audi Appearance Protection… have 30 days to make a decision on adding or not.

3rd party from my credit union. The warranty is through Vision Warranty, a subsidiary of Allstate.
