Holy shit Bango - thanks for posting this. This affects one of my daily drivers, the shitbox M5 that I will NEVER fix to get the check engine light to disappear.

Oh…you definitely haven’t seen my e39 then. At almost 300K, I only fix the things on it related to horsepower and handling, but the bugger keeps on ticking.

hahahahaha…never buy an ottawa car. This replaced my B5 S4 6-7 years ago, at this point it owes me nothing…

-driver’s window regulator broken
-missing back right side of bumper
-wheels peeling their coating
-rusty front doors
-punctured jack-point underneath, it collapsed, due to rust, leaving a weird pushed-out dent at the bottom.
-dark drug-dealer tint
-chugs 1L oil every tank
-electric fan not working (viscous fan works fine, though)

Asides from that, she’s tip-top. All 400 horses present, it seems.

did you see the E39 M5 at the dragstrip last time? Thing was running slower than the track prep truck. What was up with that?

Anyone know how the E39 M5 with the vortech kits do?
