Engine code help

So in the last few days the car has not been starting on the odd occasion. Only really happens after I start the car and shut if off then try to start it again - usually cause my bluetooth has not connected. I had a similar engine not starting issue when we had the car in Europe and turned out the Main Relay was stuffed. This time I ran the VAG-COM tonight and I don’t really know what to make of it, so any guidance would be great!

I cleared the codes, and interestingly the car is back to it’s “jerky/hesitant” ways when I first got the JHM tune. I guess I have had the tune for about 3-4 months and of late it had started to really smooth out, now it’s back again.

That is a lot of short to ground faults at a slow cranking speed. I would start by looking at the global things like the main fuses, relays, and ECM in the ECM box. Make sure everything is connected properly, look for burn marks on the relays, and do voltage drop tests with a volt meter on the fuses with the engine running. You may also want to call JHM in case something came loose inside the ECM.

Looks like a main harness has been pinched or chafed, makes sense with the short to grounds everywhere. Did you send out out your ecu to JHM or did they remove it? I would check any exposed wiring or for a harness that was misrouted and has rubbed through the protective shielding. Also think it would be a good idea to pull your ecu cover to make sure you didn’t pinch any wires.
