Engine fault codes

Got these recently:

3 Faults Found:
16434 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor B2 S1: Heating Circuit
P0050 - 004 - Malfunction / Open Circuit - MIL ON
16535 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor B2 S1
P0151 - 002 - Signal too Low - MIL ON
18666 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor B2 S1
P2234 - 004 - Signal Shorted to Heater Circuit - Intermittent
Readiness: 0010 1000

My question is, is that the front or rear sensor? Don’t want to buy the incorrect ones.

That is the front driver side sensor. You always want to change the S1 sensors when you get a code. You actually want to always change your sensors when you get a code but the S1 controls the real time fuel.

Thank you, sir. That was the answer to my question.

Glad I could help.

Just a tip. If that is the original sensor you might want to replace the other sensor as well. The sensors tend to ware out at about the same rate. You also get collection build up at about the same rate. So if you have one sensor with 0 miles and one with 10000 miles or more you will see the fuel trims reflect that.

My plan is to replace both 1’s. Thanks again for the info.
