All I have to say is wow!! Someone took the time and money to build them. I am somewhat impressed with the attention to detail, but it obviously did not extend to the drivetrain.
Yeah you could tell it wasn’t a real Ferrari because it had a clutch pedal :-o
Those guys did pretty good with the bodywork, the one with the LS1-looking motor might have been quick enough even! Bet it’s enough to drop some panties in most parts of the world outside Italy.
this is such a common thing in los angeles I see Lamborghini ferrari and even porsche GT reps all the time. Im always able to spot em cause something always seems off and I always call the owners out on it, I love seeing their faces. Hell about 5-6 years ago we were in my friends B6 1.8T GT28 which was a 300-340HP car at best and we annihilated a lamborghini replica by buslengths.
dammit jspazz no one posts all day and you decide to post the exact same time I do.
BTW most exotic reps are built around Fiero’s LOL
They came a long way fron the feiro days…dam just saw ur post paper. They look good for what they are.
Lol great minds think alike
no definitely, they look legit to 99% of people. But overall sometimes the dimensions or the lines or the creases are slightly off and you can tell its not a perfectly made factory car. The last one I saw was a murcielago parked in front of a starbucks and people kept taking pictures with it. I walked up to the car and the first thing I noticed was big huge fake rotors installed on top of the tiny fiero brakes and rotors it was hilarious.
The wheels were always easy to spot for some reason. Not for some reason… But because they were obviously fake. The cars always look good or touch to spot. On the old 308/328 replicas anyway, they NEVER got the wheels right.
I assumed some company sold replica body panels, or at least that they were legit metal or fiberglass. But it’s spray foam used for sealing your windows that’s shaved to look the part. Wow.
