Finally got around to doing a followup dyno after I fixed a lot of the little issues with the car since the last dyno.

I told Andy from Neetronics that we needed to hit 300. Things were going well until about 7000 rpm when we heard a big BANG! By the look on his face, I know Andy heard it too. I had told him to go all out, as the car may be dismantled very soon, so he didnt let off until redline. Well, the bang was a large chunck of the tire flying off. If you watch the video closely you can see it fly off the wheel at about 1:00

And the end result? One run - 278 hp and 296 lb/ft. I only had the one run, and wasnt able to quite hit 300 on either HP or TQ. Interestingly, my numbers look very close to Redneck Trucks dyno (278 hp and 308 lb/ft). So, I will finally have to admit that the ported heads and full 2.5 exhaust provided little to no gain over his setup that uses stock S6 heads and a modified stock exhaust. The dyno shows my previous dyno run from last year in blue, and the more recent one in red.

So that is about it for this car. It will either be sold soon, or broken up for parts. It is an amazing car to drive, with instant throttle response and tons of torque. Will be sad to see it broken down, but at least many of it’s parts will be going to the RS6
