Has been infrequent and intermittent, but now has become pretty consistent. From what I’ve come across, I should check the brake fluid level in the reservoir. Anything else? Seems like a bad ABS sensor would come up in a VCDS scan, which it has not. Let me know what else, if anything, I should check.
Added some brake fluid tonight. Took more than I thought it would, so I suspect that’s it.
Remember it started doing it last winter then went away in the summer. Came back in the mornings. I assume the colder temps are just enough so that the cold “contracted” fluid puts it just over the float switch threshold in the reservoir. We’ll see…
Yes that is the issue I had in my d3 after bleeding brakes. Warmer in the summer, yes, first corner I would take moving low fluid in the reservoir causing the code / dash light. Added fluid to correct level and solved.
