Maybe he is counting total dollars spent at JHM, not technically JHM parts. His car pretty much came with everything except the tune I believe.
Funny thing is in the thread I posted above… he asked about the JHM 93 tune and got a ton of recommendations, opinions and facts.

Then when the RS4 guys figured out what the S4 guys had figured out, VF went cold on the RS4 kits too. THey stuck with the R8 kits selling and reselling through Stasis.
I have to thank 91gl, justincredible, jfunkey and the boyz for slapping me in the face and basically asking me ‘are you fucking crazy? DO NOT trust these guys’. Without them I’d have bought that kit. Instead, I at first thought they were just being dicks (like everyone else)…because I wanted the kit to be legit, and they were pissing on my campfire. Of course they were protecting me. Then I said fuck this, called JHM, got tune/piggies/FI catback/LWCP and loved the car. I went to the dragstrip and ran 13.21 @ 107.3 and was FASTER mph than Todeshandler’s VF SC B7 S4 Avant (107.0) …but I spent $2500 and his kit cost $10,000!
Wow. Another year later got 2.5" downpipes and JHM’s updated tune with launch assist, and ran 12.9 @ 107.9. Fuck those scammers at PES and VF. It makes me mad when people reject my warnings. I can only imagine how annoyed justin/jfunk/91 were when I wasn’t listening and was defending VF lol.

Your dyno pure numbers fail to take into account a lot of factors. When we ask for 1/4 mile slips, we’re not asking you to enjoy drag racing, we’re asking for those “pure numbers” you also want but with more relevance than a dyno machine (which in effect is garbage in, garbage out and no one knows the amount of garbage that went into the dyno settings).
So who cares if you don’t like drag racing, who cares if you built your car for the canyons. A 1/4 mile is but a tool to measure gains, just like a dyno, but with more relevance and less room for manipulation. That’s all there is to the drag strip.
I don’t get this part. You’re not asking the community for their opinion (even though forums are basically all opinion based) but you’re asking if anyone is interested in a factual review. Who the fuck cares if anyone is interested??? Just go out on your own and do your factual testing if you want to know so badly for yourself what the story is about these headers. Then come back and make a full detailed thread about your meticulous testing.
Do you really need our interest? You seem to have enough interest on your own. I just don’t get why you would ask us other than to have the community bow down before you praising you for taking the time to test something we already know the answer to. A real humble and scientific person would have just gone out and performed and documented all of their tests on their own without telling anyone and then come back with their report, pics, figures, etc.
And that’s part of the problem. Self-fulfilling prophecy. You start “on-guard” and by doing so, created an air of elitism which we all hate on AR.
Just stop posting because it’s not helping. The thread will die on its own. Run your tests or don’t run your tests on your own without telling anyone (if you do run the tests) and in a few months, come back with your results if you so choose. However, when you come back with your results, if they’re crap, prefacing the thread with “I just wanted to provide the community with hard evidence of how shitty these headers are on a forum that won’t have the thread deleted by sponsors” it would go a long way in reducing the “I told you sos”
And, on the other hand, if you see dyno gains, but don’t include 1/4 mile times, expect to be blasted because a dyno without a 1/4 mile run to us is pointless. A dyno is useful to help explain the 1/4 mile run by looking at the shapes of the curves themselves but without a 1/4 mile run to actually show real world gains, you’ll just get laughed at.

I very much appreciate Axle stepping and saying something, as I have great respect for his method of communication and his car. He made a very solid statement which summed it up, perfectly.
This, is and was the entire point to my first post. “I just wanted to provide the community with hard evidence of how shitty these headers are on a forum that won’t have the thread deleted by sponsors”. And he is right - I should have just done it on my own and then posted results. TIL.

Icanfly man you got me again. I for a second I thought you were being honest. But nope. You were just waiting for more opertunity to make it look like you were doing something other then putting on the headers you paid for and hope they work. Your desperately trying to find any post to make it look like people actually want you to do this.
I think we all know how we come off. What you don’t get is when people like you are dishonest you don’t get a warm delivery. We all got your number on this. You bought the headers your trying to hide behind making it look like your doing this for the community but the community told you nobody’s interested. Your response was we are elites because unlike you we all have standards that say you don’t do reviews for parts from companies that fuck people over.
So because you basically wasted my time. … as I was trying to help but you weren’t here for help you were here to try and sell us that your a saint for trying these. Your not here for the community your here for your own adjemda…you weren’t here to share you were here to insult anyone that tried to share if it didn’t fit into your goals.
I think most of us already know where this is going. Your the type that isn’t about anything other then talking over people to hear yourself. As they say, you can lead the horse to water, but you can’t make him drink. You can literally hang your body weight from a horse’s neck; they are so strong that you physically can not force them to drink it. So spending 3-4 pages of back and forth trying to get him to do it is not helping; it’s just making everyone involved look like an idiot. I offer one of my favorite pieces of advice in this regard:

So what I am trying to say is this: When you see somebody posting like this, and everybody has told them what for, and they don’t appear to be listening, just leave them to their own devices and encourage them to post up afterwards instead of just disappearing forever. That said, this is also the internet, so if you just enjoy dicking around with people like this, then by all means, knock yourself out. But it may make you seem dickish to the casual onlooker. Those of us that have been around a while know you are just trying to help, but less experienced members probably just see it as a flame war, and probably don’t read much of it anyway. Just my opinion on it.

See that’s where you are missing it. That doesn’t work. Look at that turbo rs4 thread. Euroswagr and jdmnomore are telling the forum the truth, and reality. They have from page one. The test of the forum is saying ‘leave him alone and let’s hold hands and sing koombayah.’ jdm and euro are badly outnumbered by empty headed morons who don’t know the true history of this loser and don’t have a fucking clue about how to turbocharge and tune one of these cars, or that this loser is trying to make a buck and scam them as he did selling pes kits. So now, it looks like jdm and euro are wrong and the record will be that the PROVEN and ADMITTED scam artist is the new good guy.
Notice that we tried that on page one (your method) and he kept coming back with bs. Guys like that are not just ‘trying something out for the community.’ they are promoting their own agenda.
It wasn’t until the next page or two that he admitted what he was really all about, and it was only after he was hammered with reality.
Further this is a written record that will be here for ages. If a guy (you) starts a thread about garbage China headers and the other guy follows up with ‘I own them, they see really nice, and they seem really well made, and I am going to go teat them’, and everyone goes ‘they don’t work well but hey, check and let us know’ now you have a new story on the record.
Now you have a legacy thread that someone will google search and see. What does that thread look like? What is the lasting impression? That the only guy in the thread who owned them thought they were great and he never posted anything negative and lived happily ever after.
The other way, the way it went went, he gets raped and exposed for what he’s really all about, the truth about making headers does up, and reality is now on the record.
If a couple of people want to say ‘wow he was mean to him’ I don’t really care. Have I ever posted to make friends and keep everyone happy? No.
This is a facts first car forum and when you come here to cloud up the record with fluff and bullshit, you are going to hear about it.

People told him that it’s not that simple and the jhm part is quite well done and there’s no real beit to reinventing the wheel, but hey, try it and let us know how it goes.
Well guess what? He did try it. And he made no more power. And it did fucking explode. And he did end up buying one from jhm. But he never told anyone. He just disappeared.
What is the written record? The written record is that he tried something new and it was great and it ended there. The truth never got posted on the Internet. So anyone who reads that engineers thread thinks it’s so easy to diy a jhm intake manifold and live happily ever after. Someone else tried it. And someone else had to call jhm for help when theirs disintegrated. But you don’t hear those stories. You just see koombayah and smiles because nobody is allowed to get their feelings hurt.
When the person is too stubborn or pig headed (like icantfly) you will never get the truth. When the person is completely honest and forthright like JimmyBones was, and he tried to far up his own headers, you hear about it from start to finish and the facts get laid out. His take was that it was a financial and practical challenge that after a while didn’t make sense to continue. Guys knew he was an honest quality guy, so he was encouraged and helped, not attacked. But when the guy is full of shit like icantread he gets blasted.
I see your point and I agree with the concept. Personally, I no longer get that rabid on these forums, but I don’t disagree that, in most cases, it very likely helps the community in the long run. I just won’t help do it in the same way you guys do. But I’ll buy you a beer if you’re ever down in the good 'ol Colonies 
As far as the famous chef from Audizoo and his twin turbo rs4 go, you can literally read that thread and put it to todays society. There are so many dumb, mininformed people that dont care anymore that its frightening.
If you read the thread people are literally forgiving this guy for scamming others, lying to people and being who he is just to get on thier knees and praise him for “being revolutionary” in making a TT RS4. Ive stayed out of the thread. Im keeping up with it, to watch it fail and back Euro and JDM when it does. But at this point its too late. One of my favorite quotes of all time is “Never undestimate the power of stupid people in large groups”
At this point they dont want to hear the truth. It will come eventually. And even when it does and Euro and JDM say i told you so, most hide and the others will still find something to say to make Euro and JDM out to be the bad guy. I know this one will come “well at least he tried to better the community”. Theres no hope for some people.
