Selling my arctic white 4.2L V8 '04 Audi S4. Car has 96,xxx miles on it. It’s a quatro AWD driven by all non smokers, and comes with Recaro seats front AND back. 6-speed MT with APR engine snub mount, black trim installed (over wood), Bose speakers and sub, HID’s and interior LED’s installed (Footwells included). Everything works excellent and there are no mechanical flaws left…or I would have fixed it by now. I’m the third owner, but from what I’ve seen it’s been treated right. Never tracked or raced, but spirited driving has been done. I have sold a few cars on these forums, so I know I’ll never get what I’ve invested, but hope to recoup some of it. I’ve painted the grill and front rings black for the subtle sleeper look. 4 of the 5 wheels (incl. full size aftermarket spare) have curb rash, and the hood could do with a paint job. There are also small dings from soccer moms, but nothing that a paintless dent removal place couldn’t handle. Also includes a first aid kit in the rear armrest. All is clean other than that, including a clean Carfax title. Comes with FREE Sirius/XM radio!! Why I am selling: I am addicted to Subaru. I’ve owned an '87 Brat, '06 WRX, '06 STI, and '07 custom built FXT/STI. I want to be able to buy myself a nice Legacy Spec B. The car has a lean, but it’s with Navy Federal and I (via the bank) can get the paperwork completed in just a few hours. PLEASE post questions or PM me with interests and offers.

seconded.

Unemployed bump ttt

Shoes are great for trail running.

ever try those native style non-existant shoes?

they look pretty neat. Just a slab of rubber and a leather thong.

I will buy your transmission.

Good luck with selling the car but try removing the creepy shoes for a faster sale.

Transmission is for sale…for $15k. :o

Shoes are not for sale though

Bump for tire kickers to this point. Looking for serious offers only guys and gals.

Car pending sale

Just passed 98,079 miles. Oil changed and tires rotated.

A $14,000 bump

Well, somehow the JHM rear diff. mount melted. So replacing that as we speak. But ready for purchase tomorrow morning.

A few of the older style cast blue/street rear diff mounts have melted.

Also the rear diff mount is made by Apikol - not JHM. This is the second post recently blaming JHM when they don’t make the part but instead dropship parts from the original company.

Apikol has stepped up in these cases and replaced the mounts from what I remember.

I only blame JHM cause they were where I bought the product. I never expect Target to make the clothes and DVD’s I might buy there, but if the shirts rip or the DVD’s don’t play I’m not going to the manufacturer to complain.
Just sucks to have a heavy duty diff mount completely melt down. Not the way an OEM part is supposed to perform, so I would expect even more out of the aftermarket products I buy.

It doesn’t matter where you got the product from. It is a occasional problem with the older style blue/street Apikol rear diff mounts.

I don’t feel that the street mounts are heavy duty. Usually street density mounts are marketed as stock type replacement parts. Now if you had a race mount density mount then I might be open to listening to that opinion. Either way, I have never priced up an OEM rear diff mount but it is safe to assume that the Apikol is still cheaper anyways.

Did you even bother to contact JHM about getting a replacement part? I bet they would be glad to help you out in this case. They have always been happy to help me with any issues or questions about parts that I had ordered through them, if it was their part or not.

OP it makes absolutely zero sense to blame JHM for a mount that they don’t manufacture.

Honestly if you bought something from target and it was past their return period they would tell you to screw off and contact the manufacturer…your also comparing JHM to a nationwide retail store which also makes no sense.

Yes but in this case, rather than contact ‘target’ or in this case jhm…and rather than contact apikol, you thought you would instead whine about it on the Internet. Strange.

How old was the mount? Because target will tell you to go fuck yourself after about 90 days

Edit damn euro. Beat me to it.
