Ghetto stancetards are now buying RS4s

Does sakimano realize that the suspension that Stasis put their name on is really an Ohlin’s manufactured/tested setup? Maybe he doesn’t realize that it’s one of the most respected brands in the racing scene as well as used on many supercars for great street/track ability. I’ve never head anyone speak negatively about them … Aside from here. Let me guess, nothing is better than the DRC? That’s almost as silly as someone saying Alcons are bad just bc stasis slapped their name on a few sets. It’s just relabeling, or I guess you guys call it “outsourcing” when JHM does it. Botton line is regardless who sold the Ohlins setup, it’s a great suspension. Period. Anyone who has ever spent any time on a track with DRC vs Ohlins would get it. On the street it’s harder to appreciate the benefits. On a drag strip, I’m sure it’s even more irrelevant.

and 7:58 is fucking fast. look at the list of the top 100 and see the shit that’s slower than that. its quite impressive. I find my car wonderful in the corners, I only find myself wanting a bit more firmness. the car is predictable and easy to drive at its limit. for a 4000 pound 4 door sedan daily driver im quite happy.

I can’t wait for zmon to explain how the JHM supercharger ruins the great looks of the RS4. You can’t even see the fucking thing. JHM needs to put a big arrow there so members of the retard crew know where to look when watching videos of JHM RS4s breaking records.

I also love how of the 4 points I made, zmon agreed with all of them other than the point about the APR supercharger kit, which he is pretending to not know about in order to protect APR lol.

Meem’s motor blew months ago, and everyone on the forums and the offline instant messenger groups knows it. Zmon pretending he doesn’t is comical. Last week here on this site (first here, as it usually happens) news came out that the 1 APR test car, borrowed from a dealer in Illinois, and featured in APR’s video for the kit, ALSO blew the motor and is sitting at APR headquarters. Hasn;t moved in months. I guess Mangrove, APR’s new owner, is busy deciding whether they can afford a replacement motor for it, or whether they want to pay the light bill.

If APR do try to buy a new motor for it (and flyin rotten apple when the inevitable happens), it will be interesting to see the discussion with Audi when APR says ‘we need a couple of BNS engines…just put it on our unpaid $160,000+interest tab’

Performance data doesn’t lie. It’s 3-5 seconds on a track like Summit and even more at VIR (6-8 seconds). My SL’s, botton of the line Ohlins, are just as comfortable on the street as the DRC. Sounds like a win win to me but everyone has their own objectives. The great thing about owning a car is you get to do whatever you want to it… 13.5 now is my best? Next time you talk it’ll be 14.0 bc every time you talk it gets slower. And you are correct, I have only made a total of about 5 passes in my life. Sorry, it just didn’t excite me. Now the next thing you’ll say is “Well you didn’t like it bc you sucked.” Which would be another cluesless comment bc I can assure you it’s a hell of a lot harder to get fast at a real track than it is to go in a straight line. Let’s get back to the question I asked. Where is the proof of another blown RS4 motor from the S/C? You guys say 2 are down as though it’s fact. Where is this information from? The car owner, APR, or just more rampant assumptions?

I doubt ohlins did actual testing as I believe they just sold the dampeners to stasis who then reassembled, also if ohlins actually did produce and test the stasis setup, I’m sure they would have chose a dampener not designed around rally cross, and gone with what is used in the PSi/034 setup.

You’re like a broken record man. No one ever says road racing is easier, but you almost always talk about how much harder it is than the 1/4mile (going straight and shifting through 4 gears) yet you sucked at it.

Do any AWD burnouts in the water box lately? Hahaha

If a guy puts his car on 50 fucking public forums, enters it in shows, and ego-trips all over the internet about it…I don’t think he should be surprised when people hate some of the choices. Frankly I don’t think flying rotten apple gives a flying fuck about what we think about his car…he likes what he likes in order to troll for teenage boy golf/jetta driving ass, and that’s his prerogative.

I don’t think he needs a security guard to stick up for his feelings though.

The car looks janky as fuck. It’s an extreme show car. It just needs a big spoiler and some extra holes in the hood. That’s the opinion of the majority of people. The stance-tard world? They love it. Great! Quit protecting someone who needs no protection though.

Hello troll member. Enjoy some negative rep points. Thanks for allowing the members here to vote you off. I assume people on here know what your non troll name is?

Once again, where is the proof of the APR test car having a blown motor?.. You can say I suck. It’s clearly not a concern to me since I don’t care to even go back even though everyone gets better with more practice. As I said, just didn’t do it for me. 0 excitement to me.

where can I find this performance data?

It’s so funny how you trolls are so exceedingly uneducated. You don’t understand how facts work and its been made clear you don’t know how to read just how to post.

As I already stated. If you’ve ever been on a track with DRC and then with the Ohlins setup there would be no question. Ohlins does have the TTX line which is 50% mroe than the cost of Motorsports so of course it won’t be as good as those. But still better than most of the other options on the market for the RS4.

Try reading

You’ll find

3 RS4 motors
At least 2 S4 motors
Well you read it stacks up quickly.

Yes, I’m a troll for stating facts. Seems about right for this website.

For every page of useful info on this site there’s 10 of garbage so sorry if I have no desire to go through all of that. Please copy and paste exactly what info you are referring to where the APR test care is currently down with a blown motor. I’m guessing this would be info from the owner or APR since clearly gossip doesn’t count. And once again, why should APR having a blown motor on a test car be a major concern? Hasn’t JHM blown motors as well? Or is it different when they do it?

Funny your facts are nothing but your thoughts . Nice to see the community is already helping expose that. Nice rep after 3 posts.

Thanks for continuing to expose you’re completely useless and have nothing to offer. Goodbye troll I think you’ve done a great job of showing how ignorant people like you are. You have the facts in front of you and don’t have the ability to read but muttering to yourself about how your thoughts are somehow facts is something you’ve been able to just keep on with.

moron…first off nice ban evasion. Fooled me for a second.

second off, what the fuck are you talking about the stasis (bankrupt) suspension for? Flying tomatoes thought it was sooooo great, he pulled it off, threw it in the garbage after 18 months, and went with air bags. That’s what is ironic.

Ask the guys who have 15,000 miles on theres and need a $2000 rebuild and 2 weeks of downtime how great it is.

I don’t give a shit if it’s great on a track. If it only works for a short period of time then needs rebuilding, that’s SHIT on a daily driver (and if you bought a 4 door 4 seater RS4 just for the track, all the power to you…but 99% of RS4 owners tend to want to drive them, not put them on jacks for 2 weeks while their suspension is rebuilt. last time I checked, you were putting your RS4 out to pasture with respect to track duties and you bought yourself an E36 M3. Tell me more about that lol).

Another example, the APR supercharger is great at making your car accelerate…but if you blow your motor within a month as the APR test car and MEEM’s car did, what the fuck good is it? 2 out of 3 dead motors is a pretty shitty run rate.

nobody cares if you know or not. We’re just telling you that you’re dead wrong and out of the loop. Please fuck off.

It’s a concern because

a) APRdidn’t own the car…it wasn’t a development car that had 20,000 supercharged miles on it and had an engine tear down to see what was up. They used it to do an install guide (along with flying rotten apple) and dyno stuff and dragstrip stuff. It was not APR’s fucking car. They borrowed it.

b) APR tested it, pushed the shit out of it, and then launched the kit for sale to the public…the motors started blowing a couple months later…not in ‘testing’. The kit was fucking sold already. To guys like meem, whose motor blew. Notice that JHM wouldn’t sell you a stage 2 supercharger kit 2 years ago even though Dan’s car was already trapping 125 MPH at the strip? Why? They were still testing the kit. Even today they are. They didn’t push 16 psi and get it out there, only to have the motors blow AFTER they’d sold it to the public. JHM in contrast bought an RS4, tested it, and are rolling out the kit slowly. They’ve torn the motor apart half a dozen times. They’ve developed forged internals and have sleeved RS4 blocks for big power. This is a very different proicess to borrowing a car, installing the kit, running it (slower than JHM) at the strip, and then selling it to meem…only to have meem and the borrowed car blow their motors immediately.

c) three guys on the forums got the APR1740…one was the GRD car (the one in the video) that blew the motor (call GRD in Chicago if you want to hear about it)…one was meem who blew his motor…the other is FT aka if his motor blew, we wouldn’t hear a thing (but we do know it’s smoking like a fucking tire fire)

At least Gibby isn’t afraid to come over to AR and look like a dumbass…
