Ghetto stancetards are now buying RS4s

You’re running a staggered setup too? Man this gets better and better.

It all seems pretty stancetarded to me. bruh

Also, nice humblebrag on the amount of cars you’ve owned. I can also count back to every vehicle I’ve owned in the past 15 years. The truth is none of us give a shit.

yup staggered. oh wait I forgot that’s breaking the law too. shit:anguished::anguished: thanks though again for words of wisdom :+1::+1:

oh and if nobody really didn’t give a shit my car wouldn’t have been on this forum being shown so much love

not a single liner was removed. nothing at all was altered in the car to make these work. not even a single hole drilled in the car :+1::+1:

I’ve run bags on other cars thru numerous winters. never had an issue. millions of cars and trucks come with air bags from factory. no issue there. as far as the anti freeze goes, yea that’s something ppl do. I’ve never done it. my fix is to just leave the car up at height overnight. if your valves freeze up for a period of time it won’t matter. semi trucks and that sort have a special antifreeze they use in their systems. its perfectly normal to do that. if it works for thousands of truckers in all types of freezing climates why would it not work on a little car?

I saw your car and posted it here. the thread is about stancetards which u are. u have fun with your short bus.

First things first, you said it, and I said it too … to each their own.

Second, don’t go posting pictures on public forums of an extreme looking car and then act shocked when some people don’t like it.

You know as well as I do that you are an attention seeker… A peacock. You made that clear with your very first decision with the rs4 “hmmm…I’ll have a yellow one”. I love imola but it is just too flash for me and most people . You love imola and/or the attention it gets you. I also know my boring ‘grayvus’ would probably put you to sleep.

That continues with extreme wheels, extreme suspension settings, the taxi stickers (which are hilarious) etc.

Theres an element of doing things to get the most looks and for people to talk about you . So don’t be a baby when you get what you wanted.

Finally, help me understand how that works…you’re saying that when you have it parked it looks like a retard car (it does according to me), but when you drive, and change the ride height it goes back to normal camber? If so that’s not so aggregious. I didn’t realise the geometry changed so much.

Anyway be less of a pussy. People make fun of my car for looking too stock and monster truck all the time. I don’t give a flying fuck and I also don’t need to freak out and justify it. I know people will hate that just as you know people will hate your car.

At the end of the day your key won’t start mine and my key won’t start yours so that works out just fine.

Looks like prominent negative camber on the rears in this rolling (cruising height) shot.

Also, who quotes themselves to re-post their own pics???

No Axel…that is his height setting for photo shoots, not his normal drive setting. It looks cooler to be slammed and tucked ::slight_smile:

People who quote fail and don’t have editing privileges yet.

There is no way that your car rides comfortably with tires and wheels like that. It’s odd to sacrifice so many great things just for a cool photo. To each their own I guess.

This IMHO is the perfect ride height rolling shot. I think it’s awesome to push limits or think outside of the box, but sometimes too much is just that…too much and a car that 98% of people thought looked amazing turns into a number more along the lines of 5%. Like Sakimano said Dtoys, you want people to look at you…so you shouldn’t get so bent out of shape if people don’t agree with your chosen style or choices.

Another beautifull car completely ruined!! I am all for improving the stance of the RS4 and some people get it others have no frikkin clue. Like the old saying goes, “class” cannot be bought you either have or you don’t.

Someone educate me on what is inside those fenders–don’t see bags in Alberta. Are the liners removed and its wide open?

I looked into bags for a bit, as I really could use the feature of having the car automatically maintain the same height regardless of load. I load the car up for windsurfing trips, and the cottage, a few times a year, so that feature would be amazing.

However, there seems to be issues with bags in the winter. I started reading about it on some of the forums, and they guys were saying, its not really a problem if you add a teaspoon of antifreeze to the system and then do monthly draining of the tanks.

At that point, I decided that I like the simplicity of coilovers. If anything, I would get some high end ones where I could adjust the damping to account for a heavier load. It would still have the car sit lower, but it would be controlled properly.

Or buy an Audi that has factory air suspension (except the Allroad). Some of the A6s have it, as well as A8/S8s.

My buddy has had his air setup on his Golf R and so far no issue in the winter either for whoever posted earlier about air setups in the winter.

I dont see the big appeal in bags on a RS car. But im not going to critisize him or what he does to the car he owns. I think most of us think performance on this site (especially pertaining to a RS car) but lets all remember that he spent money on that car and its his not yours. What you think of his setup he may not agree with yours. It is very flashy (not my style).

There are quite a few of us on here who would consider bags and im one of them. They can get you the perfect height and so forth especially for up here in the winter. I wouldnt be dragging it all over the ground.

Oh and for whoever commented about the rolling shot of his car with the wheel looking like it has alot of camber, i think its the way the pic is taken. If you go and look at my shots i took with same photographer in the B7 section, on one of the shots of the NY skyline my camber looks like alot, but its only -1.8 . I think it has something do with the way he took the pic.

Out of curiousity Dtoys (or anyone for that matter) when you run a staggered setup dont you fuck with the quattro system? i thought i read that somewhere.

as long as you keep diameters the same, staggered can work. Not advisable though as it’s hard to get it perfect since the tires are rarely accurately depicted with respect to ACTUAL width and sidewall sizing.

it’s not as sensitive as people think. People used to say you had to replace all 4 tires if you got a flat because one newer tire would be bigger (tread wise) than a 50% worn tire. Nonsense.

Hey, his staggered setup probably matches perfectly based on that rolling shot. If only 85% of the front tread is on the ground and then 70% of the rear is on the pavement, the staggered setup probably had matched tread on the road lol.

I don’t really care though. I think the red RS4 in that rolling shot looks perfect. There are some cars I get a kick out of on bags and enjoy (old rat-rod VW bugs and the such). But it’s not my personal preference on somethin like an RS4. At the end of the day, the RS4 will never be the next civic so no real fear of this becoming the norm imo.
