I was just wondering if any of you guys had a chance yet to log the latest release of the GIAC Stage 2 software that fixed the upper end boost issue, and supposedly dialed in some more performance, and compare the results to the previous analysis of the GIAC Stage 2 v1, APR Stage 2 and REVO tunes.
I know Jeff has he just won’t share with me for some reason? I’m sure Pete has as well but I’ve never asked to see his logs… I’d love a look myslef but I’m guessing it looks like APR stage II V2 has for a few years now with maybe an additional degree of timing on average but I’m just speculating… I also asked Todd from AWE to share from their record S5 passes but no response…
that’s odd. I reckon if Jeff was asked directly he would post it. Your post here is pretty pointed, so I can’t see him saying he didn’t understand.
instead of emailing logs around, why don’t you guys just post them? Make a log thread for people to review parameters. Maybe clochner can sticky it, and then you can have him edit the OP periodically. Just make sure it’s to view and compare parameters, rather than to extrapolate performance. The B5 guys turned sharing logs and understanding parameters into log racing, and now we have loads of slow B5 S4s with great logs…which were all done running downhill in the wrong gear.
Saki, Yeah not sure jeff was being deliberate but I had asked and he never shared so I dropped it as it’s not a huge deal I just like having a look see… I have no problem sharing any of my logs and have sent them to many folks as to me that is what it’s about… Heck I’ve spent quite a bit of time showing several folks how to log and helping interpret them as again that is what it’s about… I like your idea on a thread to share them vs email…

My buddy just got the GIAC Stg 2 v2 and is willing to take some logs. Some of you may get to this sooner than we will but I’ll throw them up if it helps.
I have logs of the beta upgrade. I have no logs of the final release which I had flashed just before my Ubly track day. I have been meaning to get some.
What I noticed is that the requested boost was lowered. Now actual and requested match almost all the time and the bypass is essentially closed for 95% of conditions(cold anyways).
I have not had a chance to really compare timing.

I am going to be comparing a dry air filter to wet air filter this weekend.
I am working 140 hours every two weeks right now prepping the Chrysler plant for their new vehicle launch in a year or two.
I have this weekend off finally.
