Stage 3 the TTRS would be interesting. Is that out yet?
What have we seen in 1/4 mile times from stock or tuned TTRS so far? There was one at Santa Pod that was well into the 11s and I think trapped 125 MPH (which is what the TTS Supercharged B7 RS4 trapped thereā¦a car that made 500 WHP). If that TTRS is stage 2 or something, thatās nuts.

J, Yeah I know the stigma the car has and I thought about that but Iām not hung up on itā¦ Not a lot of cars fit my desire/needā¦ I wanted a coupe, 6-speed and prefered FI motorā¦ If I donāt like it I can sell it and take a small hit but I think Iāll like it alot based on driving a TTS and what I have read about the carā¦ Will see what happensā¦

Saki, Not sure if that was a stage II or III car and not a lot of 1/4 times posted on the interwebā¦ Arin mentioned a stage III car but it may be a beta tester, honestly not positiveā¦ I want to learn how to drive the car well before I go balls out as the plan is to do a handful of track days so Iāll probably do a few stock and then go stage II with tune, exhaust(either full or downpipe), larger frount mount, and intakeā¦ Will see how that runs and then most likely go bigger turbo next year but who knows at this pointā¦ Would be nice if Arin could make some passes in their stage III TT-RS

If I were him Iād totally take these cars to a dragstrip or buy a Vbox and do some actual testing of the cars. Hearing his opinion of what āfeels fastā is a bit hollow, knowing he is basically kissing the tunerās ass.
For that matter, why donāt we create a youtube channel where we do that? Itās really needed and would be enjoyed. The only reason I watch āMotorWeekā is for the instrumented testing of whatever car they have going that week. There are lots of numbers nerds like me.

Iām so jealous of you Primetime. Iāve wanted one of those TTRSs since I first heard that they were going to be selling them stateside. I just canāt justify trading in the S4 when weāre going to probably buy another house here in a month or two. Be sure to keep us updated on what itās like so that I can live vicariously through you. Theyāre like a hot girl with a funky smile. They look terrible in pictures, but are pure sex in person.

Some real metrics would have been nice. I still havenāt seen a TTRS locally. Iād love to take one for a spin one day although I doubt it will replace my current coupe.

We have them here by the gross it seems. There are 2-3 in my small town. Whenever Iām in Toronto I see one too. They look badass with the big wing on there.
