GIAC Stage 2 with AWE Tuning Pulley

I think you got them all. do one log with ambient pressure and the timing retard per cylinder, then ignore it afterwards if there’s no knock. Same with EGT per bank, and all 4 O2 sensor voltages, if nothing’s wrong, but keep one O2 voltage for AFR on the “performance” log.

Yea you’re right, I had to check again myself. People who were crying for this file before it was released had unrelated CELs it seems.

Ya when I had Revo before and my cell would come on maybe once every 1-2 weeks after lots and lots of hard ass driving. Maybe 10-20 redlines in a row and it would come on, no more cel’s after the APR file.

Looking forward to the progress in here. I have the awe stage 2 pulley and am waiting for the latest and greatest GIAC stage 2 tune to match.

Awe car guy? Mr Buffalo?

Hi salmon
Must have missed your intro thread?

Why is something wrong with the current tune? How much boost you seeing? Lot of bypass? Are you dsg or manual? If dsg any issues? Thanks!

Welcome Salmon. Take it easy on him fellas lol.

Yes he bought the AWE car (Stage 2)/ 6 MT.

You will find this group of guys to be very informative.

Welcome Salmon! How is your car running. Wish you were closer to L.I so we could meet up.

Cool to see things look like there shapping up for you auditude

This seemed the more appropriate place to post. Yes, I purchased the silver AWE car that all of their parts were tested and dynoed on. Tsivas suggested I join up over here and indicated that it was a much more open forum than audizine with less commercial influences.

It definitely would have been nice to be able to contribute to the great testing you guys were doing out there. It also would have been nice to be closer to AWE to help them expedite final release of these products. It seemed to take a while to line up cars with the specific hard parts for testing.

did you leave the stickers on the side?

Nope, I believe all the stickers were removed by AWE in the pic I saw

Correct. Car looks otherwise the same, although I did pick up a new set of Summer wheels and raise ride height slightly.

If you’re in Buffalo, you have to make an appearance up here at TMP in the spring. Likely we’ll meet sometime around Good Friday when the track opens. Would be nice to have the first passes of GIAC St 2 happen in Canada…:-). I’ll supply the 110 oct. if you run the 100 tune.

I make it to TMP a few times each Summer to do their “road course,” although I try not to take my DD. I may make an exception with the S4 and the tune will undoubtedly be done well before then. 8)

PS - Definitely down to run the 100 oct tune if you are paying for the juice. ;D

Very excited!

I’m down for a head-to-head run on pump or race… ;D

I’m game even though it’s tough to keep up with those damn dsg cars. >:(

Driv

My kinda driver…! I usually hit the road course too, and usually in a silver NSX. The drag strip is just for kicks these days, i hadn’t been in over a dozen years until I bought the B8 S4. In fact even the S4 was at TMP road course the day after I picked it up… Let me know whenever you’re out, I’ll be there (April or so opening, I’d guess). It’s practically on my drive home from work.

I will take it to the 1/4 once. Road course is a lot more fun. I will be out there in either an Evo or a 911 ordinarily.
