GIAC Stage II 30-150 - 29 degrees of timing - Nothing New - Enjoy

LOL! Nice… 104 tune? What gas and any retard? How does vagcom compare to the gauge? Hope all is well…

14 gallons 100 octane speedway, I think it’s sunoco, same stuff I grabbed after leaving your place! Along with 1.5-2 gallons of e85. Love this combo.

Also had methanol turned on with a 50/50 mix, very low spray, keep charge cool.

29 degress advance? My heart yearns!!!

It’s the 104 tune and he is measuring with a gauge… I see 26-28 on the 104 tune with little to no pull as well… Can’t wait to try the new fuel ;D

Empty your gas tank, fill it with race gas and yearn no more (or less at least).

Prime, the gauge matches the overall timing advance field in VAGCOM.

psychotic, done that, thanks.

Is 10.5 - 11.0 seconds 60-130 fast for this level of modifications? Seems slow.

At 1600+ DA it seems good to me!

Also I clocked sub 10.5

You realize you listed your DA…making the actual elevation irrelevent.

Ya, not sure why I did that. Trying to over exaggerate a point I suppose.

Corrected!

How did you ‘clock’ it? Using your race logic unit? Or the video screen?

It was a serious question. I thought you guys were quite a bit quicker than that.

1600 feet of da isn’t a big deal. Down 20hp maybe vs late fall

I think better DA would make very little difference.

He is on race/E85 mix, with meth injection on a supercharged car.

IMO the DA of 1600 meant nothing. Primetime’s car runs great in mediocre DA.

DA is more important to the NA crowd.

Fairly well established that DA effects these cars quite a bit. The fastest 60-130 were run in DA lower than -2500. I believe Auditude ran a 9.7 on his 6-spd

Looked up my best time, 9.88 at -2500 DA.

Auditude ran 9.68 with -1600 DA in his manual.

Ok your talking once in a blue moon stuff now with over 3000ft difference in DA.

I guess I what I was thinking was perfect 0ft DA. I don’t feel your pull was impressive given your fueling and meth, no shit starting…just being honest.

Ah OK I thought the 9second runs were in flat da. 4000 feet is a lot. About 60 hp

Considering the fastest runs to date from either APR OR GIAC(minus Auditude and my other runs) are longer than 10.5 seconds and were done in - 800 DA or more. I disagree. It is actually a very good run.

I’m not talking once in a blue moon, I am making a direct comparison to the best runs, compared to the video.
