yeah, they were crap.
they are fescue greens, fairways and tees. Basically like they have in the UK. That’s fine if that’s 100% fescue, but when you have other strains of grass sneaking in to the greens like poa annua, and bent grass, now you have a surface that is not all growing at the same rate. Poa grows quickly, and is very invasive. See all those spots on the greens? That’s the other strains of grasses.
At 6 am after you mow, the greens are like glass. At 4pm, the poa has grown much more than the fescue and bent, and now you have a bumpy surface.
