Yes separate car. The video on audirevolution was from August. They were using a different car back then.
Now they’re using Jason daily driver, the one in the raw footage video.

It’s funny that the four door sedan guys with the s4 are way into racing and performance testing… But the guys with the sport coupes are more into window tint and cats. Wtf.
They are starting to come around. The V8 S5 market seems very similar to what I remember of the B6/7 S4s before JHM started producing parts that work. They seem numb to most performance parts because they don’t produce big gains like the 3.0Ts.

12.5 is coming soon for sure which is close to what a bolt on 3.0 with a tune runs just traps a little lower. Pretty impressive from the forgotten v8 s5 platform.
The A5 3.2 will run mid 14s @ mid to high 90s, but the S5 will go 100-102 at best. We have seen some better trap speeds from magazines, but real cars are nothing like the traps in the mags for some reason.
Problem is these guys just don’t hit the strip. Or the track. Or fucking anything. They just polish their cars, lower the fuck out of them and jerk off all day to cat pics. It’s a weird world lol.
The issue is many of those guys jist have magazine times to refrence. Car and driver and road and track dont go to a certified trwck for testing. For a refrence there times are ok but most of the time they are not accurate. They tend to do road side or airpirt test runs with good equipment but not real deal stuff.
The s5 is dead now but jhm is seriously pumping life into it. I think we will see the real guys come out of the woodwork in the next few months…maybe they just need a few good starter button install threads toget that dforum going
Some 2.0T guy says he went 13.9 in his A5, and he ‘only’ had a REVO tune lol. Sure, a tune that pushes 10 more PSI and boatloads of timing is no big deal. Oh and it’s still over a second slower than the S5 in the video. When did this become A5 2.0T vs. S5?
Then Alkivar says his car is trapping XXX and then shows a 1/8 mile time slip (lol). Also, his A5 3.2 is hardly stock. It had LW front and rear rotors, full suspension, may have had downpipes, definitely had a catback, may or may not have had LW wheels (he has had 5 sets). Not sure what he’s getting at. When did this become A5 3.2 with random mods and a massive driver vs S5?
